In September, 2000 I retired after teaching in the Ontario community college system for more than 20 years. I first taught in the Early Childhood Education programs at Centennial College and George Brown College, then in the Child & Youth Worker program at George Brown College for many years. Later I taught for several years in the Redirection Through Education program at George Brown, spent a sabbatical year working at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry (now The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), and was seconded to the Learning Innovations & Academic Development Department (LIAD) at George Brown  for several years.

Now that we are both retired, my wife and I have more time to travel and to enjoy our family. I am able to spend a bit more time reading fiction and futzing about in my basement woodworking shop, although I continue to  work part-time as a counsellor.

Thanx for visiting . . . . Mike
